Cleanse, tone, moisturize. Use products that suit your skin type. Wash your face with facewash everyday, and use a scrub for exfoliation every week. This will make sure that dead skin cells are removed. Then, use a toner to prevent acne, and make your skin glow. Moisturize for healthy skin, and don’t forget to use SPF everyday!
Products that are made for oily and acne prone skin usually have tea tree oil in them, as it is proven to alleviate and cure acne. Use a mild face wash, and don’t scrub your skin vigorously, as this can burst pimples and leave scars, along with causing you pain. We have an entire line of products for acne prone skin, called Acneclear, so you can have a look at it to see what you need!
As we grow older, our skin loses its elasticity and collagen, and naturally sags and starts developing wrinkles. Sun damage can be a contributor to ageing as well, so make sure you use sunscreen everyday. You can care for your skin, and use products that have antioxidants in them. We also have a range of Collagen+ products that are made specifically for ageing skin. The BT Cell line is also made for intensive therapy to reverse the signs of ageing.
Skin types are normally categorised into dry, oily, combination, and sensitive. Check your skin an hour after washing your face. If your entire face is oily, you have oily skin. If your only your T-Zone is oily, you have normal skin. If there are dry patches on your face, you have dry skin.
You;ll usually have to test products to be able to tell your skin’s suitability to them, but understanding your skin type and seeing the ingredients on the label should be a good indicator.
Once your day is over and you want to retire for the night, it’s important that you take off your makeup. This prevents clogged pores and acne breakouts. There are a lot of ways to take your makeup off, but our favourite is the Aqua Beauty 3-in-1 Face Cleansing Gel. Then, use a toner, and follow it up with a moisturizer, t make sure yur skin is glowing and free from problems.
